Most people have some sort of extra fat they would like to get rid of. While diet and exercise can help patients lose massive amounts of weight, at a certain point, stubborn fat deposits that do not respond to diet and exercise. This fat can appear in many areas and disguise a fit, toned body beneath it. Liposuction 360 is one of the many options patients have to sculpt and enhance their body’s contours. Dr. Scott Blyer aka DrBFixin at Cameo Surgery Center provides the best liposuction 360 Long Island and NYC offer.
‍
Liposuction is a minimally invasive cosmetic surgery that removes small portions of fat from a targeted area of the body. The procedure utilizes a thin tube called a cannula to break up and suction up fat. Sometimes, Dr. B will use injections of tumescent fluid or lasers to break up the fat before suctioning it out. We use power assisted liposuction and depending on the case sometimes Vaser® with or without j plasma (Renuvion®).
360 liposuction refers to the areas where Dr. Blyer performs liposuction. In this case, Dr. B performs lipo on areas around the entire body. A lipo 360 procedure can be standalone or performed during another procedure such as a Brazilian butt lift or tummy tuck. Depending on the look a patient is going for we can create a smooth natural look, a "ripped" athletic look, or a super curvy look.
Liposuction can treat nearly any area of the body that carries extra fat. With liposuction 360, the treatment areas encompass the entire body, but can otherwise vary. Possible body areas treated during a lipo 360 procedure include:
The exact combination of treatment areas will depend on the patient and the end result they want. Dr. B will discuss this with the patient during their consultation.
Liposuction 360 offers patients many possible benefits. Some of the possible benefits of a lipo 360 surgery include:
Even though liposuction is minimally invasive and frequently performed, it does come with inherent risks. Individuals will have a different level of risk based on their medical history, lifestyle, and other factors. Some of the possible risks of a 360 liposuction procedure include:
Major complications from liposuction surgery are very rare. Dr. B is a board certified cosmetic surgeon with over a decade of experience in liposuction procedures. He takes every precaution to prevent complications.

Most healthy adults with small pockets of extra fat around the body likely qualify for 360 liposuction surgery. Both men and women undergo the procedure to better define their body shape and muscle tone. Undergoing liposuction 360 can also help enhance the results of many other body contouring surgeries and the collected fat transferred to other areas.
Patients should preferably not smoke and any major health conditions well managed. They also must have an adequate amount of extra fat in multiple areas to safely perform liposuction. Most people—even those of healthy weights—have enough fat to qualify for liposuction 360.
Liposuction is normally performed under general anesthesia, though there are rare cases where local anesthesia may be sufficient. Dr. B uses tiny incisions placed in discreet natural folds to access the treatment areas. Depending on the type of liposuction, Dr. Blyer may inject tumescent fluid or apply laser treatment to break up the fat. Using the cannula, Dr. B then removes the extra fat from the area. He repeats this process in all of the other necessary areas.
The amount of time it takes to perform a liposuction 360 procedure varies widely based on the number of treatment areas, how much fat is present, and if the fat is going to be transferred. Generally, patients can expect a 360 liposuction surgery to take a few hours.
A liposuction recovery usually requires about a week off work. Patients will need to wear their compression garments day and night for at least two weeks. Activity can slowly increase around two weeks after surgery. Other instructions Dr. B may provide include:
Patients may experience mild to moderate pain and soreness. Bruising and swelling are also normal. Compression garments help reduce swelling and promote better results. Other common side effects include redness, itchiness, numbness near the incision site, and nausea.
‍
When liposuction is performed on a patient who needs skin removal surgery or who has so-so skin quality, it may leave behind some loose skin because it cannot retract adequately. In this situation, there are two possible solutions:
‍
Lymphatic massages after liposuction can help aid discomfort and swelling. While it can lead to a more comfortable recovery, it is not required. Lymphatic massage helps the lymphatic system drain and prevents fluid buildup in the body. Many patients find them quite comfortable and relieving.
Patients can gain weight just as easily as before liposuction. However, liposuction changes where fat accumulates on the body. Areas treated with liposuction will not see new fat cells, though the remaining fat cells can expand. The areas not treated with lipo will see more fat with more weight gain.
Dr. Blyer recommends that patients remain at a stable weight after liposuction surgery to maintain results. While normal weight fluctuations and a small amount of weight gain will likely not affect results, more substantial weight changes can affect the results of Long Island 360 liposuction.

Liposuction 360 with DrBfixin is $11,500. The price may fluctuate based on the number of treated areas and other procedures performed.
The amount of time the surgery takes depends on the number of areas treated and how much fat exists there. Generally, patients can expect a liposuction 360 procedure to take between two and fours on average. If another procedure such as a tummy tuck is performed, the overall surgical time will change and extend.
