A Brazilian butt lift is the gold standard procedure for buttock augmentation. Though, BBL surgery relies on patients having enough excess fat for liposuction and transfer. Most people will fit this requirement, even those who have a healthy BMI. Some thin or petite patients may not be able to safely undergo liposuction and likely will not have enough fat for transfer. Dr. Scott Blyer—or DrBFixin—specializes in surgical and non-surgical BBL procedures. Cameo Surgery Center provides the best non-surgical Brazilian butt lift Long Island and NYC offers.
A non-surgical Brazilian butt lift uses dermal filler to augment the buttocks. The dermal fillers favored for the procedure is Sculptra® or Radiesse®. Sculptra® is a semi-permanent filler made of poly-L-lactic acid which is a known collagen stimulator. The filler itself adds initial volume. As the filler is metabolized over two years, collagen replaces it. This helps maintain some increased volume long term. Radiesse® is similar except that the main ingredient is calcium hydroxyapatite. It also can last for years and helps stimulate collagen production.
Patients can also choose to undergo multiple sessions to achieve the volume they desire. Though, it should be noted that Sculptra is limited and cannot achieve an extremely dramatic result like a traditional BBL could. Thus, it is best for patients who want a natural buttock augmentation.
The best candidates for a non-surgical Brazilian butt lift are patients who do not qualify for a traditional BBL because they do not have enough fat. If a patient can undergo a surgical BBL, this is almost always preferred and recommended over non-surgical methods because they provide the best and longest lasting results.
Otherwise, candidates should be in good general health, have realistic expectations, and be non-smokers. Dr. B can determine a patient’s eligibility during a consultation.
A mini tummy tuck in NYC has many benefits for patients who qualify. The benefits and advantages include:

When a patient comes in for their non-surgical Brazilian butt lift, they will first undergo the numbing process. Patients can also choose to take an oral sedative to help relax during the procedure. Though, this is totally up to the patient. A combination of topical and injected anesthetics is used to numb the buttocks and injection sites. This can take close to an hour depending on the projected length of the procedure.
Once the patient is comfortable, Dr. B will begin the injections. He will have already marked the areas to focus on. The injections themselves can take as little as thirty minutes. Patients may feel pressure during the treatment but little to no pain.
As a non-surgical procedure, a Sculptra® BBL does not need a traditional recovery. However, patients cannot immediately jump back into daily life and will need to take some steps to promote good results and comfort. Dr. B may provide instructions such as:
Patients usually can return to their full routine within a few days or a week. Though, some elements of aftercare such as massaging may continue for a few weeks.
A non-surgical BBL Long Island can last years. However, it is subject to every individual patient’s metabolism. The Sculptra will eventually break down in the body, but it should leave behind some collagen to help maintain the results for longer. Patients may undergo multiple sessions or touch-up sessions based on how their body responds to the filler. Sculptra® can last 2-5 years and Radiesse® 18 months. Both of which stimulate collagen for a long lasting effect.
Some discomfort during the procedure and pain after is normal. Though, patients tend to bounce back quickly and often do not have to miss much or any work. Bruising and swelling may linger for about two weeks which may cause some discomfort. Dr. B usually advises that patients do not sit on their buttocks for a certain amount of time, usually about a day. Patients can also use BBL pillows to help reduce pressure on their buttocks if bruising or discomfort occurs.
Generally, patients do not experience much pain. Any discomfort is usually treated with at-home medications such as acetaminophen and massage.

Yes, a Sculptra® BBL or Radiesse® BBL is safe. The procedure does carry some of the same risks as a surgical butt lift, but because no general anesthesia is involved and the injections are often not as deep within the buttocks, the overall risk is lower.
Several factors help determine how many vials of Sculptra are necessary for any given non-surgical BBL. On average, patients will receive five on each side for a total of ten vials. However, some patients get double this amount or even different amounts on each side.
During a consultation appointment, Dr. B will examine the patient’s anatomy and discuss what they want their final result to look like. Based on this, he can help the patient decide on the right amount of Sculptra.
‍
Initially, the Sculptra may lumpy or bumpy. This is normal for Sculptra treatment and should reduce throughout the following weeks. Massages can also help with reducing the lumpiness. As the filler settles, swelling and bruising subside, and collagen production begins, patients can expect their non-surgical Brazilian butt lift to look natural.
Additionally, the augmentation that Sculptra can achieve is generally more subtle. This can look more natural long term, especially for patients who want enhancement without it being obvious.
