Dr. Scott Blyer (aka DrBfixin 🔨) is a Triple Board Certified fellowship Cosmetic Surgeon, dedicating his practice exclusively to cosmetic enhancement for over 16 years in NY. Dr. Blyer went to school at Penn State for undergrad then went to Stony Brook for his medical school training. He completed his general surgery training at North Shore University Hospital and then completed an accredited fellowship dedicated to cosmetic surgery, in Plano, Texas. His route was unique and allowed him to get the maximum experience in cosmetic surgery training.
Dr. Blyer is the President of the NY State Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, a Trustee for the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, Co-Chair for the BBL Safety Committee, Board Examiner for the ABCS, Chairman of the NY AACS Political Action Committee, and fellowship director at CAMEO Surgery. He has an artistic creative mind 🧠 and skilled hands 🙌. He gets the look you are going for (he’s not some stuffy old dude 🧐). He has authored textbook chapters, journal articles, and his own book, the BBL Bible.
Dr. B has won multiple awards 🏆 in patient care. He is an active community member and active in community outreach efforts including free tattoo removal for victims of sexual trafficking, free surgery for survivors of domestic violence in partnership with Nicki Minaj’s mom, and pro bono surgery for children bullied for having physical deformities. His warm heart and genuine care for everyone he touches cannot be taught in any classroom.
